Cool news just in from Ajax.

Ajax Starglider and Moxey Creative just finished up production in Battambong Cambodia today. We traveled the city and the countryside of Phenom Penh and Battambong Cambodia documenting the work of Cama Services and their amazing Moringa Tree Project.
We were on a tight schedule but managed to capture some images that express the wonderful beauty of the cambodian people.
Now, post production begins and within a month we will be releasing the documentary. There are some amazing things that the Moringa tree is able to do - purifying water, helps Aids victims have stronger immune systems, helps stabilize high blood pressure, and makes a strong cup of tea.
Thanks to David and Doris Strong and the Cumai people for all of their hospitality.

There are several entries written by members of the Illect Recordings family. Please check them each out.

ILLECT Recordings and JustMe want to share this track in celebration of this special holiday where we all remember our mother.
The first song recorded for JustMe’s new album, Before The Twilight, was self-produced. As a matter of fact, “How I Met Your Mother” is the only song on the album not produced by North Carolina native Commissioner Gordon. With that said, it is all the more personal and touching. Like “Latenight Lullaby” from his 2006 release, One Man’s Trash, “How I Met Your Mother” is a song sung directly to Justin’s son Jake. It is a beautiful story about a man changed by love, in more ways than one. Enjoy!

The Kings of Tragedy are back at it again. After a couple of conventions, inventions, and San Francisco, the tour continues from the west coast back east. Earlier in the year, Wonder Brown of the Scribbling Idiots and MC Till of…Evansville visited Indianapolis, Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Golden/Denver, Albuquerque, Flagstaff, Fresno, and Portland, to name a few. Able to touch lives from hookah bars to elementary schools, the Kings of Tragedy touch on subjects of the post-modern church while jumping around like Idiots. Pun. Acting. Skits. The Have Nots and Beautiful Raw. That good rap feeling. All in one!
They are currently booking shows from California to Ohio. For more details or if you want to view a sample of the Kings of Tragedy, visit Myspace.com/wonderbrown. If you are interested, concerned, confused, or all of the above, they can be contacted through Adam Hayden @ (812) 430-4464 or via email at wonderbrown13@yahoo.com. Cheers!

“The Short List is subtitled “A Beat Tape,” but that’s a little misleading. Not so much a collection of loops for you to practice your rhymes over, this stands up on its own as an artistic instrumental hip-hop album. The concept, according to the liner notes, is hung upon the “small group of women who have impacted [Dert’s] life…,” and indeed the music melts well with this idea; romantic-sounding guitars, funky harps, and reverberated snatches of female laughter all contribute to the feeling of memory, and once this conceptual seed is planted the varying moods presented in each track are easily connected to images of the various women and situations one encounters in life. By tapping into the listener’s own memories and imagination, the concept succeeds in drawing attention to the music, which does not disappoint.”
